Our professional photographer, tour designer, guide and producer is Olih. Olih specializes in Landscape and Advertising, Architecture, Weddings and Portraiture.
Olih is a professional photographer and designer based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
His career as a photographer has been successful, started out early as teenager hovering around his mothers work in Reykjavíks most popular studio. Olih graduated as a system analyst and the camera was only a hobby for years. As time past his designer skills grew through his IT specialization. Olih became a pioneer in 3d designs, Web design and taught classes in IT and Photoshop.
With his strong passion for photography Olih started freelancing in 2009 and his talent developed. In 2011 Olih took the big step turning his passion full time he also started studying photography at New York Institute of Photography and at Taekniskolinn in Reykjavik to widen his horizon. Moving out of his day-job in advertising and doing serious photography took his talent to a new level. Ever since, he has established himself as a photographer who effortlessly combines nature and fine-art in his portraits.
Olih co-founded En route in 2012. Through En route Olih has offered photography services, workshops and photo tours around Iceland.
Fellow travelers in his tours find him a wealth of knowledge about photography technology and also he is an excellent guide with great knowledge in Iceland; it´s sagas, history, geography and geology. He is a brilliant mentor with years of experience in teaching both computers skills and photo editing as a background. His enthusiasm sweeps people off with him to seek adventures for the perfect photo. Add to this his distinct humor with which he spreads laughs during his tours and makes people seek his company as much as him being a fountain of wisdom regarding the island, politics and photography expertise.
Although he has already made a treasure chest of invaluable stock images from Iceland he is tireless in seeking new footage, new adventures and introducing his findings to new people
