Our Photo Tours are designed to save you time and money. With an experienced guide you will be at the main locations, the right spots at the right time according to light conditions. The routes are timed and tried, so we know exactly what we can reach within the time or day limit we have. We have the knowledge and connections to book alternate connections needed. We have the weather forecast, the northern lights forecast, the road conditions and all safety measures at hand. The vehicles are chosen according to the route ahead, the driver gives you the chance to rest between locations or enjoy the sights. Accommodation is chosen according to location, as close to the main targets as possible to ensure you as little traveling time and as much rest as possible. Our renowned photographers are great instructors and guides, they are at your disposal at all times. They shoot with you and share all the insights you want.

Post processing is as big part of the tour as you want, lessons and instructions are available and included. We focus on photography from dusk till dawn with a bit of rest during the harsh light in the midday.

Planning your trip
Iceland En Route designs a complete itinerary for your private photo tour including suggestions of our favourite places and things to see. Whether it is a day tour or a multi-day tour.

We either combine our pre-planned tours to make the itinerary you want or customize a tour according to your expectations. We also arrange all your accommodation and transport.
We want to hear your expectations for the tour to plan your ultimate Iceland experience.
Depending the size of group and locations to visit we choose our means of transport. We specialize in smaller groups for a personal and relaxed atmosphere. We travel in air-conditioned comfortable SUVs. Bigger groups welcome, with the choice of multiple SUV´s or a mini coach.
Do not worry too much about the tour structure, tell us the main locations you have in mind and leave the planning with our expert tour planners.
During your trip:

We’ll recommend great places to see and photograph on the way. We´ll escort you to wonderful locations and local restaurants along the way. We´ll drive you around – unless you prefer a plane or a helicopter we´ll arrange it.
A photo guide will accompany the guests throughout the Photo Tour and assist with check-in / check-out at the hotels, guide you through and explain the history of monuments, places, culture, traditions and customs of the Icelandic people. The guide will be at your disposal throughout the tour.
